ADMISSIONS

In order to apply to The AHW Barber Academy students must:

• Be at least 16 years of age

• Possess one of the following:

  • High school diploma

  • GED certificate

  • State issued credential for secondary school completion if home schooled

  • TABE Test – Field Copy of results

• Pay non-refundable $100 application fee

Students MUST complete the following prior the start of class:

• Proof of HS Diploma, GED, or state issued credential for secondary school completion if home schooled OR take TABE

• Application

• Signed Student Enrollment Agreement

We cannot process your application until we have received ALL items listed above.

Registration Process:

Students must first submit a completed application with a $100 non-refundable application fee to The AHW Barber Academy for review.  Applications will be screened to determine if the applicant meets the necessary requirements.

Classes will be filled on a first come first serve basis, according to the date and completion of the application and other documents received.  The AHW Barber Academy holds to the standard of NO discrimination in admission, instruction, and graduation policies on basis of race, ethnic origin, age, sex, religion and financial status.

Once applicants have been approved, potential students must complete and sign the Student Enrollment Agreement prior to attending class.
